Altitude is another example of how a RSN should be programmed.
You'll be amazed at how many out-of-region viewers tune in (via DBS) to Altitude for the CFL and regional college sports.
I actually watch ESPN Plus' Big 12 basketball coverage on Altitude, since the picture on there is better than on the low-rent UHF station that shows the games where I live.
This is one reason why I subscribe to the Multi-Sport Pack. The various RSNs air Big East, MAC, WAC and Sunbelt games produced by ESPN Regional.
Big East games used to be broadcast in my area when the Miami Hurricanes were in the conference but dropped once they left for the ACC (despite the Big East picking up the South Florida Bulls).
