ESPN radio Hartford changing formats?

I’ve wondered if they would ever syndicate the Michael Kay show into Hartford. Would that improve the daytime drive ratings.

But the question is who would flip to ESPN?

With all of the layoffs ESPN has done recently, especially laying off TV talent, I don't think anyone will flip a station to ESPN Radio. The cuts make me wonder if radio network has a lot of life left.

A few other reasons -

WFAN has a significant signal in the southern part of the state.
WTIC tried sports talk in PM drive, and went back to issue-oriented talk.
If someone wants ESPN Radio, they can listen on SiriusXM 80.

Once Arnold Dean died so did their sports talk show.
