"ESPN RADIO" HOW IS?

"ESPN Radio" 1340am and 1450am.
How is their signal there?

Back around 2002. I was in that area. Back then it was "Urban AC" Driving from Brockton to Providence, I picked up 1340am, it was crystal clear in the day.
Around Providence, I tried 1450am. That was clear as well.

My destination was Newport, Ri. I picked up both stations in that area

How about now?

How's the signal now? Day and night?

Well, ESPN sucks programming-wise. Signal-wise tho:
1340 comes in better than 1320 here in Middleborough. 1450 is only audible around West Warwick at night but a little further in the daytime. I think it gets out as far as it does in the daytime to the N.E. because 1460 in Brockton's modulation isn't all that high.

For a 1KW graveyard signal, that 1450 in W Warwick gets out really well. You can hear it quite well into Rehoboth/Swansea to the east, and almost into Woonsocket to the north.

1340 is over on the east side of New Bedford on the 98.1 tower, and does well along the south shore. I've never monitored it north of there but in RI , the signal does just fair at best.

Night time coverage is typical for a graveyard signal. 1450 is audible near the tower and near the Seekonk River into Pawtucket.
1340 is only really audible at night time east of Fall River.

Don't forget that at least overnights, weekends, and some play by play, you can get ESPN
on 103.7 WVEI-FM Westerly...pretty solid signal

(WVEI-FM in Wikipedia:
>>In addition to WEEI programming, WVEI-FM carries Providence Friars men's basketball, as well as ESPN Radio (despite the presence of a full-time ESPN Radio affiliate in the market, WLKW). )

Thank you all for your responces. I have to agree with you about their Programming. They should be more interactive. The only hosts ai like is Mike Salk Saturday nights 8pm-Midnight, I also like V Show Saturday into Sunday morning Midnight-3am, Amy Lawrence is ok. I also like Freddie Coleman. If they can be more interactive, they'd be better.

For me, I'd rather either or "Fox Sports Radio" and "Yahoo Sports Radio"

I think (On weekend overnights) I think "Fox Sports Radio" is on ?? 1480am in your area?
