espn radio must go

as a listener to espn late night i think it must go away
2 days ago when floyd landis admitted to taking drugs in what i understood was a telephone call espn radio host mentioned nothing about it.
i understand that the NBA is the bigger story, but at couldn't they have mention it

I won't say it must go, but ESPN radio clogs up too many frequencies on AM.
Why I would need 7 or 8 outlets to hear the same sports yap, I can't understand.
I understand that it's an easy bird-fed format, but enough already.
There are MANY MANY other choices for programming and unserved sections of the populace, while ESPN is available on multiple signals.

This afternoon, an anchor on the local New York ESPN Radio affiliate reported the Floyd Landis story during the "Sports Center" radio updates. Is that good enough?

I agree there are too many ESPN stations already, and it would be nice if they would change a lot of things.
I heard them mention the doping deal several times today, but Landis doesn't really have proof, just his word.
ESPN seems to tend to wait until there's some level of proof in a controversy to discuss it a lot. I'll give them credit for not spending six hours talking about what one person said, when the only thing they did was make a statement.

no the idiot who works at night namely Jason...... should have talked about it when I first heard about it which happened to be during his show but he ignored it until the next night and only spent maybe 30 seconds the whole night talking about it instead of where Lebron James was going to go

Why was it so crucial for them to mention the story, since you already knew about it.
Talk radio is bout TOPICS. not reporting all the days events.
thats what espn news is for. or the updates.

if I know about the subject and i can find out about the subject should they leave because most people can find out about the subject and what makes a topic anyway they do by discussing the issue and I think because the network does not cover any bicycle races they Do Not care or do not know about the subject
And another thing Topics are ABOUT THE DAYS EVENTS

ESPN Radio gave plenty of coverage to the Floyd Landis subject during the daytime when they have listeners. Colin Cowherd had a particularly interesting
segment where he asked rhetorically whether Landis was a snitch or a whistle blower. The Sportscenter updates led with the story for most of the day.
If you are tired of the LeBron James impending free agency saga, you are not alone. If you listen to Jason Smith, you are alone. Sleep at night and listen
in the daytime, and you will get your information on a more timely basis from better hosts.

I liked Jason Smith when he was with Mel Kiper. When you think about it overnight sports talk has really taken a dive in the last few years.

I liked Todd Wright when he was on overnights on the four letter network. Now he's on Sporting News Radio on evenings, but the local affiliate replays Dan Patrick from 9-midnight and I only get a hour of Wright.
