ESPN Radio question

When WAMG/WLLH decided to become an ESPN Radio affilite, was WEEI forced to give up their part-time affiliation? To clarify; If a radio station in Providence, for instance, decided to run ESPN radio 24/7... would WSKO, which runs ESPN part-time, be forced to give up their affiliation?

Yes--which was why you couldn't hear the Home Run Derby and baseball
All Star Game, as well as other ESPN programming, on WEEI (in fact
no Boston station picked up either event). WEEI is ONLY Fox Sports,
WWZN is only Sporting News, etc.

WAMG/WLLH are picking up many ESPN shows as well as Premiere's Jim Rome:
6-10 am Mike and Mike
10 am-noon Cowherd
Noon-2 pm Jim "Can I Call You 'Chris', Jim Everett?" Rome*
2-5 pm Dan Patrick
and later they have ESPN Game Day, etc.

*--Rome was interviewing Jim Everett and insisted on calling
him "Chris" as in "Chris Evert". He went too far and got pushed by the
athlete.

Isn't someone from the new ownership/management of WAMG/WLLH going to appear on "Sports Pulse" Wednesday (July 27th) at 10 P.M. on the New England version of the CN8 cable network??

Perhaps such an interview will reveal more about what will eventually occur there.

all I know is it'll be cool to have it... I'm in Florida right now and have been listening to quite a bit of ESPN Radio.... I'll definitely listen to Mike & Mike over Dennis and Callahan when it starts...
