ESPN Radio To Ron Franklin: You're Fired, Sweetcakes

For the second time in six years, ESPN deemed Ron Franklin's tone toward female colleagues "condescending," "demeaning" and "disrespectful", most recently Jeannine Edwards, who was coined "sweet baby" by Franklin at a network production meeting:

Dumb moves on Franklin's part, but not worthy of firing. A long suspension would have been appropriate. Look at the body of work, not one nasty incident.

Memo to Citadel-- You are going to fire this guy for this stuff, and you continue to own the trash that airs on any of your Louisiana stations? Sell off ESPN back to Disney, the rightful owner of the property and unload the Bayou State stations to someone who understands our area!

ESPN Radio still is owned by the mouse, Citadel just handles the advertising/distribution end of things but Disney has the final say.
