I was changing from frequency to frequency tonight in the Bush Airport and went to 103.7, which is supposed to be Jack FM right? Well no Im listening to Estereo Latino! I tought it was my location but im home now! I live in the heights and I still hear Estereo Latino! I tought then it is my truck radio but no! Im home and my home radio is doing the same!

Jack apparently has been off the air or running from their AUX site at reduced power. The nearby powerful 102.9 signal is probably overloading your receiver(s) with no signal present on 103.7.

Shoulda done some research. But don't kick yourself, the average consumer will never look into these types of things.

Ok I posted on this old topic because Sunday I tried listening to 103.7 Fm and again it was off the air. I could hear Estereo Latino far away in that channel. Wonder whats going on with 103.7? And this time I was driving an 2004 Chevy Venture with factory radio so cant blame it on the radio.

Two of my brothers happen to live each close to a FM Transmitter (one lives close to WSOS in Florida, the other near WJFK in Virginia), and when I went visiting both stations could be heard all over the FM dial in my cheapy Sony Walkman.

It doesn't always have to be a cheap radio. I have a Kenwood in dash that I spent quite a bit of money on and when I go to San Antonio KTFM bleeds over to 93.7 all the way up to 94.5.

If you think it's bad now you should have been around when 102.9 (the old KQUE) was running 280,000 watts ERP (horizontal and vertical polarization) from downtown. What a mess that was, with KQUE trampling upper and lower adjacent stations and popping up in several different places throughout the FM band, often on very expensive radios.

My sony walkman is bad about doing that but hey it was only 30$. Can't beat the price! It can pull in Houston nice out in Lavaca county I like that little radio.
