3TV..The Place With More Female Anchors?

With the departure of Mike Chamberlain, weather forecaster Royal Norman must be wondering when he'll be replaced by a woman weather guesser. In case you hadn't noticed it, 3TV programs to a female audience with shows like Oprah, Sex In The City, and Dr Phil. Ditto their local newscasts with darned few male anchors and reporters left in prime time.

The strategy seems to be working. More and more of the ads are geared toward the large female audience as witnessed by that memorable "talking panty shield" commercial Nurse Jeff and I caught last night. And just when we thought Beverly Kidd's (BLEEP) couldn't get bigger, they have! We've replaced the Media Hut TV with an extra large wide screen Hi Def to catch her inflated ratings.

The Nurse and I think Arizona's Family is onto something. And it's estrogen!

I've heard that poor Royal has been waiting for his scheduled surgery for almost a year now. (our way or the highway) And those injections every month can't be any picnic. Ouch!

One of the thoughts that passed around after the dismissal of Chambo was that he would not lower himself to the "casual dress" attitude that has taken over 3-TV. He would loose the jacket for The Newsroom, but the shirt and tie stayed in place.

So if you noticed, Royal, another old school TV personality, has been on air a few times, sans tie. I wonder if Royal is using his tie to cover his *$$ and save his job?
