Eton Satellit 750 Question

I’ve had my eye on the 750/S-2000 as well. From what I’ve read, there are no functional differences between the “classic, “elite,” and “ultimate” models. However, some of the issues in earlier versions (e.g., offset tuning, noise when rotating the external ferrite) appear to have been corrected in the newer versions.

Hopefully, we can get it delivered from the existing US stock before the supply chain problems make it impossible.

I understand the the S-2000 has a 220 volt power supply instead of a 110 volt power supply.

Not sure if there is a direct input on the S 750 for an external AM BC antenna. If not, you can wind a few turns of wire around the end of the ferrite rod. Depending on the external antenna and strong signals in the area, turn the RF gain all the way down before you get familiar with it. Then slowly increase the RF Gain until the S meter peaks.

radiojayallen has a good review and historical perspective on the early production problems.
