Big winners, WIKY, The WOLF and WSTO... Congrats to Jason and the gang @ WSTO and to Rusty and the gang @ The WOLF!

Kiss looks like it's about KISS off... format change in the future? What they're doing now is not working.. let's get some urban!

Don't leave out ABX in your SCC slurp fest!! Going from 7.1 to 7.0 deserves an atta-boy?? ::)

Looks like the new 94.9 owners picked a wrong time to dump sports!! Maybe it was just starting to take off?? Has to be better than what's on there now!! A 3.3 is far from wonderful, but it's a lot better than what they've gotten in years on that frequency and will get in the years to come.

Pretty much a static book with WIKY back in the number one position. Looks like the CHR market will support only a 10 share as IPOD, internet and perhaps sat radio keep the pressure on the younger end demos. Bottom-line, there is nothing compelling on Evansville radio to merit increase in TSL.

To think people on this board said WEOA'a numbers were always a fluke.

Yeah, 10 years of constantly getting those numbers on what sounds like a Drive Thru Speaker is a fluke.

Now, what happens if we upgrade that to sound FM-ish? I'll bet it will be better.

I agree with Joshua and oldtimerocandroll.

The Pump's LMA or some form of Urban needs to be on FM as it pulls numbers on a graveyard AM. But the challenge is to convince the folks high atop Mount Englebrecht, the many Vice Presidents of Regent or an independent FM to be name later that the format has legs.

However oldtimeradio hits the nail on the head, there’s nothing compelling on the Evansville radio dial. This boredom or rut has happened several times in the past. The cure happens when new blood comes to town and shakes things up. But today almost all of the competitive signals are divided between two very conservative companies so things will likely remain the same.

Just a note that South Central LMA's 1400/'The Pump'-WEOA out to a local urban focused business group... They have no interest in the programming, as long as the LMA is paid up and secured.... Jack flounders, again and the Justice Departments forced sale to WYNG shows that Sports WAS making an inroads.. Funny? With Eigerski running the LMA show at TOC's WYFX/106.7 in Mt. Vernon, and with a signal that has problems, they are selling the heck out of male targeted ads and I am sure Media Mix/Evansville Sports Professionals Incorporated and The Original Company (Owner) will point to the current numbers of WYNG's last book as ESPN to show what could be done in that format in the Evansville market... If and when TOC can move 106.5's tower in Washington a little north, 106.7 can raise the tower and lower the power to do what 107.1 did a few years back in Boonville... Then their four county metro coverage will be locked in....Plus the other counties in all directions but northeast (east Gibson and Pike in the ADI).... Just an observation...

Who is that Business group? Let's convince them to LMA 107.1 for WEOA FM. :)

I forget his name, but he lives in Newburgh... Ron Lyles used to work for him and their studios are in the small business incubator at the Lloyd Expressway and Fulton (old Orr Building)....
