Even Cartoon Network Invents Their Own "Awards" Show

Good grief. Now Cartoon Network is jumping on the cable network awards show bandwagon. And it will honor, not cartoons, but sports. This makes SyFy airing a sitcom about cooking a good idea.

B&C reports:

The network is planning a foray into the awards show genre, with Cartoon Network's Hall of Game, a sports-themed show honoring professional and amateur athletes. Sports powerhouse IMG will produce the show, which is tentatively slated for February 2011. Time Warner sister company Sports Illustrated for Kids will also have a presence on the program.

Hey, you can only run "Dexter's Laboratory" for so long, right?

"The Disney XD Comedy Awards" - if they were to put something together, it would definitely be something in that area - what do you think XD is code for?
