NewsRadio 1420 KJDL Lubbock announed this afternoon that will begin simulcasting KCBD TV Lubbock's NewsChannel 11 6 o'clock newscast, begining today. KCBD which was recently sold to Raycom, has Lubbock's highest rated newscast, and also has the longest running anchor team.

Also, NewsRadio1420 had coverage of the Tech game against A & M on Saturday, as an A & M network affiliate.

Sounds like 1420 is going after the smaller of the two News/Talk stations and going after 950. Smart. I haven't had many chances to listen, but how is thier signal compared to KJTV?<P ID="signature">______________

It's a good city-grade AM signal. The pattern seems to be the same day and night.
