Even the pros still make rookie mistakes!

I was listening to The River just now and about five seconds or so into my favorite song, "How To Save A Life" by The Fray, Jim's ready to start his live read, and then realizes he left the mic on. That's a Vol State move if I ever heard one! (well, I've never done it yet, but I've heard people who have)

you've never left the mic open?
that's NOT a rookie mistake (but you do have to open the mic to leave it on)

Chris,

Bear in mind, over 60% of the people on this board have little or no experience in this business, in addition, they forget that we are all human, and we all make mistakes. Computers even goof up because they are programed by humans.

Like you, I, and Chris Lash, we are older & wise enough to tell if an announcer or board op has just made a mistake or they don't know what thier doing.

Oh by the way, my new and improved hot water heater gets so hot, steam comes from the water to wash your hands and kill the germs! (HA!) I bet when Lee owned this building, he didn't go by the best from Lowes!
