K-Rock and TK are sounding pretty damn good, 95X is going to kill them. Did you see that billboard campaign? 95X is now spending money on the product. I don't see anyone else doing that.<P ID="signature">______________

Thanks for the props. Let me clarify what you're saying: if you throw money at a turd then people will start to pick up turds and listen to them? Somebody should warn the farmers.

Watch your step!

Hmmmm. Several owners have thrown money at you...

No Rox, they never threw it at me. That would've been rude. They slipped it under my garter.

Now THERE'S a picture that makes breakfast totally unappealing...

You're kidding, right? The only thing 95X is killing are its sales and its ratings.
Jack,anyone?

I believe that you've confused K-Rock with 95X. Of course, that's not the first time you've been totally wrong. And, I'm sure it won't be the last.

After another dismal book, maybe K-Rock will try a new format. Can you say "Ed"*?

* - Not to be confused with "Educational Radio".

Some people have that fetish. That's my appeal.

Or Erectile Dysfunction... Hey, you've got to justify the Jag somehow. If you can't get it up, at least have a nice car.

Yup. It worked for TK in the Spring!

Stick to commenting about Canadian radio on the Buffalo board. At least there you appear to have your facts in order.

Facts? What "facts" would those be?

> Stick to commenting about Canadian radio on the Buffalo
> board. At least there you appear to have your facts in order.

Hmmm. I RARELY comment about Canadian radio on the Buffalo board. Buffalo radio, yes. Canadian radio, not so much.

Now, about SYRACUSE radio...

When you talk about a 3-share radio station, that usually means you're talking 12+. Let's see, the last time K-Rock beat 95X 12+ was ____________?

95X was indeed a 3-share radio station during the Stern debacle in Winter '05. They STILL beat K-Rock. They started to recover in the Spring book, and we'll see if they continue to recover. I think they will. And they WILL beat K-Rock 12+. Will you be able to find some tiny slice of the demographic pie where K-Rock will beat 95X? Maybe.

Will TK beat 95X? I think so, based on the strength of their 35-54 numbers. I still expect further improvement from 95X.

BTW, you have been wrong SO OFTEN that I would put myself in danger of carpal-tunnel syndrome if I typed in the links to ALL of your bogus spewing. Let me pick a FEW of your GREATEST MISSES:

PIMP was WRONG

PIMP was WRONG AGAIN

PIMP was WRONG AGAIN

PIMP was WRONG AGAIN

Re: Facts? What "facts" would those be?

from what I can see, SirSmokesalog, you're nothing more than an out-of-town troll whose actual knowledge of Syracuse radio could fit onto an 8 track tape with time lift over for Frampton Comes Alive...now, shuffle off to Buffalo...

Stone, you've got ROX in your head. Maybe I should address that to Stoned, because whatever you're smoking is clouding your perception.

BTW, I'm still waiting for some FACTS to show me I'm wrong. 95X didn't lose to Krock even DURING the Howard Debacle. Since then, they've improved significantly. We'll see in a couple of weeks if the recovery continues. If I were 'Bone, I wouldn't bet the rent on a big bonus.

Re: Sedimentary, My Dear Watson

look, I'm not taking you to task on your 'perceptions' of this market,(thanks for your mildly generous ink) but your arrogant pomposity ,and your 'bone' to pick, betrays your superficial knowledge of what's actually taking place, other than what you can cull from the trades...head west,buffalo-breath

You'd be surprised at how much "local knowlege" you can have of a market from a distance if you spend some time there, and know some of the right people. That being said, LISTENING to Syracuse radio - however painful that experience might be at times - tells me more than any other source. I have the opportunity to hear Syracuse radio periodically - often enough to have any opinion.

Perhaps you're so immersed in your local "scene" that you don't have anything to really compare it to. Syracuse, for all its "originality", has several large operators who have imposed many of the same practices and problems that they use in other markets. You're not really as unique as you might suspect. So, I think you'll find that most of my points are valid, and that some emissions are so malodorous that you can smell them from a distance.

Re: emissions

he who smelt it,dealt it...

gawd,you are an insufferable dork...

Considering the source of that observation, I can't tell you how much that hurts me.

I find it intriguing that you're attacking me for telling PIMP that 95X will spank Krock. So, just where is YOUR dog in this fight, Rocky?

Re: emissions

I repeat, your so-called 'knowledge' of Syracuse is inadequate, your analysis is flawed, like the 'dog, you are a joke.. a confused, awkward, attempt to be something that you can't deliver..

Re: emissions

Thanks for your opinion. I'll file it in the appropriate receptacle.

Now go ahead and post your reply. I'll be ignoring it instead of continuing this useless, repetitive, and boring exchange.
