everybody loves my9 ?

On new years day i was flipping through the channels and i saw an ad saying that everybody loves raymond is moving to channel 9 in march. the question is why ? why is cw11 giving to 9 ? what is ch11 getting for it ? and what time is going for ?. also i find it weird to have not heard about it yet in newspaper or trade sites. has anyone else heard or seen this commerical or read about it happening?

Maybe MY9 will change their entire schedule to give new life to their dull schedule. They should quit second airings of Montel and Tyra and jazz up the 7-9AM time frame. I can't understand why Inside Edition airs at 6PM on a MyTV station. Why not air that on WCBS?

Does this mean that My9 also will get "Seinfeld"? The article is not clear about that.

It said in the article that WNYW FOX 5 will be getting Raymond. I didn't see it say WWOR My 9 getting Raymond.

Agreed also Inside Edition should be moved to WCBS CBS 2. Im surprised a show syndicated by King World isn't on a better station in New York City like WCBS which is a CBS o&o.

Ironically, the most recent New York stations that carried Inside Edition were WNYW/Fox 5 and WPIX/11 back when it was a WB station!

Ah at least now I know why WGN in Chicago moved "Raymond" so it's not highly visable anymore. Trying to kill the show before it goes to Fox eh?

Good point! Upon last check, Raymond now airs on WPIX in the midnight hour!

I guess the next question to ask is What show will air on 'PIX in Raymond's soon-to-be-former time slot? My best guess says it could be "Girlfriends, but only because the CW Network airs it, it would be a somewhat equal trade. Again, it's a guess, but how 'bout everybody else. What other shows do you think will fill the Raymond Gap in March?

I saw a commercial on WWOR last week that Raymond is in fact coming to My9 in March.

'Girlfriends' couldn't replace Raymond on WPIX, because it went out of local syndication this season.

Well, WNYW and WWOR are co-owned, so that means that both stations have the rights to the show whenever they want....right?

That is true. Since Channels 5 and 9 are commonly owned it's pretty much up to FOX to decide where they want "Everybody Loves Raymond" on the schedule. Admittedly, Channel 9 has had better days. Anything but wall-to-wall infomercials would be an improvement, considering the schedule they now broadcast. I was actually watching "Everybody Loves Raymond" on WPIX two weekends ago while in New York for business. I liked Channel 11's late night schedule. But I still have fond memories of "11Alive" with The Odd Couple, The Honeymooners, The Twilight Zone and of course...... "The Channel 11 Film Festival"!! What a lineup! You can still see the Film Festival intro on YouTube, as far as I know.

I was at the auto body shop last week waiting for my car to be fixed. The TV in the waiting room had MY 9 on. There was nothing but court shows and talk shows all morning. By noon I had to ask them to change the channel. To top it off they aired that stupid "Io Digital Cable" reggaeton commercial every 10 minutes.

I just saw said Commercial this morning on CW-11 while flipping through the channel. While I like Reggaeton music I agree that the commercial is stupid. Or as the say in Spanish "estúpido".

Hey guys, ease up. My seven-year-old niece loves that commercial. And for me, the girls are worth spending 60 seconds watching. ;D

I've seen CW11 (as WB11) sometimes run The Honeymooners and The Odd Couple, like after baseball games. But it would be great to have that back as a permanent line-up. Since I live in South Jersey and have Comcast, I get both MyPHL17 (WPHL) on channel 7 and CW11 (WPIX) on channel 254.

The Honeymooners is on the CW 11 regular lineup again. It's airing Sunday Nights (or Monday Morning which ever you prefer to call it) 1AM-2AM. They're taking votes for viewer's favorite episodes and will show them. Watch for the banner on http://www.cw11.com/ And The Odd Couple is on weeknights 2AM-230AM right after George Lopez. (Tuesday Morning-Saturday Morning) And The Jeffersons are on too. Immediately following The Odd Couple.
