Got a link? I see nothing on NFL.com, either Boston paper, or any of the major sports websites.

OK, I have a link. Looks like they did change the rules after all. Per ESPN, it'll be a 3-way "trimulcast" on CBS, NBC, and NFL Network, all carrying the latter's feed.

Apparently, NBC & CBS didn't think their regular Saturday night shows were worth bothering with on a holiday weekend and this would draw more viewers. They're probably right.

So what happen to Ch.5 ( ABC ) ?Who been running adds about The Only place to see The Pats/Giants Game . http://www.bostonherald.com/business/media/view.bg?articleid=1062906

Maybe you folks in Boston will get the game on CBS, NBC, and ABC. All the same feed, too! Imagine, Bryant Gum-ball on 3 stations simultaneously. ;D

Or would the CBS & NBC broadcasts be blacked out in NYC and Boston?
PATS, State of The Union ! Now put this game on CNN and C-SPAN !

South of Boston ( where I live ) , Pats will be on CH 4,Ch 5,Ch 7,Ch 10, Ch 12 and NFL Network . This is like TV version of Sports Radio WEEI ( 850,1440.103.7 and 105.5 ) .

I wonder how Channel 5 feels about the game being on other channels after they outbid everyone else for the exclusive rights to air it.

That was a lie as the game would also be on NFL Network (853 for Hd fans,265 for everyone else, based on Comcast)

This sucks! It's just Roger Goddell admitting that the NFL Network is a huge failure. It's also the league kissing you-know-what to Brady and company. On the other side of all this is WWOR-TV/DT (MY) channel 9 in New York. They're royally pissed and I don't blame them one bit!

GO GIANTS! :)

Will WCVB & WWOR be reimbursed for their loss of exclusivity? Both stations did sign contracts with the NFL for this game, and allowing CBS and NBC to also carry the game in Boston and NYC violates that deal.

According to one Patriots message board, WCVB is in court over this, but I can't find confirmation from any Boston news source. The poster doesn't provide a link, so I'm guessing that he heard it on one of Boston's radio stations.

I can't find anything on whether WWOR is attempting the same thing in NYC.

Yeah, I also wonder what contractual obligations were swept under the rug to make this happen. It'll be interesting because I'm sure that there are a few very unhappy parties here. Hearst-Argyle definitely has to be one of them.

Of course, I am not one of them. Go Pats! :)

CBS and NBC won't be blacked out in NYC and Boston. I'll guess that the NFL will make it worthwhile for Fox and Hearst-Argyle and refund some or all of their rights fees.

Consider the Pats oficially jinxed. "Santa" Bellichik is on the cover of Sports Illustrated this week. Next: Tom Brady on the cover of Madden 2009. ;D

and wmur which is part of boston dma.

wcvb and wmur will ask for some kind of a refund for nfl since they outbid other stations for the rights to show pats non-sunday night games.
