ex-99X listeners

To those of you who listened to 99X fairly regularly before they were removed from the airwaves, which local station (keep it terrestial) are you listening to now? I'm shuffling around from Project 96.1, Bulldog 103.7 out of Athens, Dave FM, and periodically Rock 100.5.

Also, has anyone tried listening to 99X.com? I have, but just for a few minutes to sample the goods. The music's the same, but without the jocks. Any guesses how long 99X.com lasts? I'll give it at least until the end of 2008.

im not listening 2 any station. project dave 100.5 r all the same OLD
i wouldve taken the scraps of 99x left on 99x.com till i found out gillian is an idiot n doesnt know sh*t about music.

I tried listening to Rock 100.5, but it's for old men with long hair...
I am listening to DAVE-FM, it's not the best station, but at least they are playing the new REM.

I would say it's a tossup between Dave, 96.1, and Album 88. Thankfully, I have XM and it stays on Ethel 47 most of the time. Ethel is what 99X should have been. I feel sorry for those of you that are trapped in the dungeon of Atlanta radio!

Being a Sirius subscriber, my 99x playlist is well covered. That's in the car.

At work/home:

I've listened to 99x.com off and on...I'm okay with it and for the most part it still sounds like 99x minus the classic alt/new wave stuff. But I haven't listened enough to hear new music. I've been trying to listen to 100.5 more...i worked from home yesterday and heard "Mas Tequila" as well as Bulletboys and I was kind of floored. Makes me think that they're testing the water to see what people like and from what I've been hearing, people seem to like the hard rock from the 80's. But it's cool to hear the occasional Pink Floyd deep cut as well. And then, of course, there's the newer rock on 96.1. So i'm leading a somewhat balanced lifestyle.

I've been listening to Dave, and have tried a little album 88 for music.

Mornings i'm TRG now, but I can't stand the music on 100.5 - gives me a headache after a while.

Been doing 1160 12-3pm for Ray Luccia, 640 for Dave Ramsey, and 750 for Clark howard....

I'm still homeless.
Tried 961 and thats probably a closer fit but just when I think we could be friends, they throw some random weird song in there and I tune out.
I'll probably give Dave more of a try but it is hit or miss, the same as 88. It's ok some of the time.

rock 100 is not for me.

On a side note I would bet CD sales and itune downloads are way up in Atlanta. I know I am doing my part anyway.

More people should know about Hype Machine if they crave new music.
