As I posted in another thread, I was a big fan of “XM Café.” It was the best channel for music. Some people called it AAA, some called it “Coffee House,” and others couldn’t describe it. Really, what it was was a mix of some alt country, mellow rock or AAA tracks, and a little chill. Consequently, I dubbed the format “Chill Rock,” as it was so relaxing. I liked that the channel was mellow, and I really liked it’s heavy lean on female artests, and I loooooved the coffee house ambiance. Ah, yes. I’m getting lost in memories here. Okay, I digress.
Now that the “XM Café” has closed up shop, I’m left to look for a listening replacement for this channel, either from an online only source, or from a terrestrial station’s online stream. I posted this very question on the AAA board some time ago, but figured I’d post it now on this board, as XM listeners might be more familiar with what “Café” played than those on the AAA board were.
Anyway, I’m looking for a channel (terrestrial or internet only) that plays the same music “Café” did, with the same mellow sound. No, I probably won’t get coffee house ambiance, but at least I’ll have the same great music. If there is such a channel anywhere online, please let me know. You’re assistance is appreciated. Thanks.
