RDS on the ex WABB (now WLVM) shows callsign as WABB-FM and the format as "Top 40" someone tell them they need to update their RDS stuff

I wish they've change it. That text sits there, tauting us with a station now a part of history. The text field still lists the WABB request line and Facebook page, as well.

You will need to contact them. No one is in Mobile. They probably asked the FCC for a main studio waiver.

I'm sure it pisses the dickens of the former WABB listener's on that dial. I wonder how many people still seek to the 97.5 FM dial. Haha

Not just that, but imagine people who are passing through and see "WABB Top 40" on their RDS and then hear Christian music. What do you think they think about that, especially if they have no idea about radio stations on the gulf coast?

Considering how buried the feature is on the radios that have it, and how limited the format set is in the RDS scheme, I doubt anyone gets any use out of it. Until 104.1 flipped to CHR again, their PTY still said country. Which Jack FM certainly wasn't!
