Active Rock stations really seem to suck these days as many of you know....Know of any stations out there playing more hardcore stuff from a few years ago such as Lamb of God, early Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, System of a Down, etc?.....Its no wonder that so many of these kids 18-25 are just turning the radio off completely...

Is metal just to weak and unmarketable to be the sole format of a station without mixing in more mainstream artists?
 
Thanks! I've been listening to KHTQ and looking through their playlist online, they are very close to what I'm looking for. Our market's active rock station just switched to a "next generation of classic rock" format or some crap. I wish we had something like KHTQ here :)
