Exciter control through RS232 Interface?

Does anybody have a link or information on controlling a PTX-LCD 100 watt exciter, similar to the one made by RVR (such as the one shown here: http://zhafb.tripod.com/id23.html How is the RS232 interface setup and controlled? Can incident power be controlled remotely (via computer) so that power could be raised/lowered to control the final transmitter output?
Edited by radiofish on 09/22/05 02:04 AM.

Open up the serial port using the standard 9600,8,1,N settings and start typing stuff in...hit enter, hit numbers...see what it returns.

The DSC32/64 returned a menu when I started typing random stuff....of course an hour later I found the manual :)
______________
