Not sure if this has anything to do with the purchase but I am listening to Christian music in Spanish on 101.7 Fm.
I changed to 96.1 to see if it was the same programming but no it was not.
Then heard someone say: YOU ARE LISTENING TO 101.7 HOUSTON gave the call signs but could not catch them since I was driving.

So both frequencies are (still) a simulcast, just not in sync? Weren't they both La Nueva? I'm never close enough to the transmitters to get anything resembling solid reception.
Thursday they were both Christian programming but they where not both LA NUEVA. 101.7 was different programming playing lots of Christian music. While LA NUEVA had Pastor Guevarra preaching.
Yesterday they were both LA NUEVA but with almost a minute behind. 101.7 FM was ahead from 96.1.
Heard the Spanish language religious programming on K269GT 101.7 over the weekend while driving around the Cy-Fair area. Programming was completely different from the similarly formatted station on 96.1 (no call letters assigned in the FCC database.) However the 96.1 programming was the same as KCDE-LP on 95.3. No IDs heard while I checked; signals are rather spotty in Cy-Fair.
