WEKS FM (92.5 The Bear) is looking for an experienced LOCAL radio salesperson to replace one of the best sellers I have ever known. He is leaving behind a great LOCAL list and I need someone to take over the list and then grow with us as we are experiencing great increases... yes I said increases in revenue. This is NOT an entry level position but will require someone with experience in prospecting, interviewing, creating proposals, closing, and yes, collections! If you want to work for a radio station that does things right... live all day long, heavy community involvement, all the sales tools you could ever need, brand new facilities, the dominant signal in all of South Atlanta, and even a seven foot bear... email me and let's talk. I'm sure you've got a lot of replies for this, Joe. Sometimes I wish I knew the sales side of the business enough to want to brave it again, but my first experience in sales left a really bad taste in my mouth. I've got programming in my blood... and I live in Cobb :eek:... Plus, I'm just starting to learn new Country. Otherwise, I'd love to work for a company that still takes stock in their employees.
 
Thanks FloydB.... do me a favor, if you know anyone... pass this along. Would you believe we have people calling the station wanting to advertise and are backed up! My wife and I are making tons of sales calls just to keep up with the leads... I really need a couple of good salespeople!
