Export Audio Files from Nexgen

I am going to go help a friend and *may* need to get some files out of a Nexgen system.

Are they just standard .wav files in a directory or is there an import/export program I will need to use?

I appreciate any tips. I am assuming they are just on the audio volume in a folder, similar to Audiovault.

In the "production" window you can "select" the items you want to export out .. and then right click on the selected area and choose "backup" then pick a directory you want to back those files up too... once its done then if you go to that directory youll find an audio , video and data directory.. the audio is the actual .wav files (PCM, MPEG2 or whatever format he imported his audio into the system as) .. video is pretty much data that nexgen uses to build the wave form in the editor window and data is a .dat file that has the meta data that is stored for each cart # in nexgen
