Extra Hour of Politics with Dave Crooks

New liner : "No one knows politics like Crooks." Also : "Crooks make the best politicians."

I recall all the former Petersburg Mayor political signs in his garage during the election. (Seems all his competition's yard signs mysteriously disappeared.)

When you went anywhere and there was good service from some young cute waitress it was always interesting to hear a certain politician pick up the phone and identify himself as the State Senator and immediately get the IDACS information on the girl including the car she drove and her home address and phone number. most of the time this is protected information haha.

Makes you wonder why someone wouldn't run for re-election.

BTW - He owns the station. It is an undending Dave Crooks Show. 24 hours a day. He started the station so he could run free political ads. This might be the reason he decided not to runa gain.
 
Isn't this the brilliant owner/politician who tried hard to get Indiana on Central Time so his daytimer could sign off at 4:15 in December?
 
He doesn't have a daytimer. WAMW AM 1580 has 5 watts at night. But yes, this is the fellow.
