Eyes on Sirius XM's Karmazin Speech Tuesday

While I'm sorry for those that will loose their jobs, and let's face it, you can't have to head ends, I do welcome the future of Sirius. I've been a subscriber since day one and have a hard time going back to terrestrial radio. Sirius has everything I want on one frequency. I'm excited to hear the redo and see everything streamlined.

I have a feeling stations and staffs are going to be consolidated, as theres alot of overlap when it comes to product.

It won't save them much if they slash jobs. They employ less than 2,000 people together, as opposed to say, Clear Channel, which employs more than 60,000. They're still a growing medium. Growing media can't reduce its already small head count.

Heaven knows that Mel needs to do something to get the stock price above $1.40 a share. And just to remind him: No Phlash, No Cash!
