EZ Peach Radio No Longer Exists Anymore

Hi everyone! I just found out that EZ Peach Radio no longer exists anymore. EZPeach.org, which is an account with Wix.com, is no longer accessible. The EZ Peach Radio Facebook page no longer exists. The stream URL, which I saved to access the stream, is no longer accessible meaning listening via the TuneIn, ooTunes, & Reciva links won't do you any good. It was nice while it lasted. EZ Peach Radio, like regular Peach, will indeed be missed. Anyway, that is all.

Yes, the StreamLicensing.com shut down is indeed related. WQEZ in Birmingham, AL, their website & Facebook page are both still up, but their stream no longer works. Easy 94 WMEZ in Mobile, AL/Pensacola, FL, who used Radionomy as their stream server, it’s the same deal with them. The website & Facebook page are both still up, but with Easy 94 WMEZ, they took the stream links down. The website only says that Easy 94 WMEZ is temporarily offline because of Radionomy and that they’re looking forward to coming back soon. Anyway, that is all.

We posted this on the internet radio site that the Copyright Royalty Board approved a 44% increase in songwriter royalties a few months ago, and that has pushed a number of internet broadcasters off the air.

Hated to see them go, have quite a few "airchecks" with Steve Goss.

On the other hand, two excellent replacements, though not standards, but soft A/C:

K-Lite 98.7:

WELJ 104.7 (terrestrial station out of East Long Island, NY. Run by a couple of young guys in their 20s..who said LOCAL radio can't work? 3 years later they're still at it, with an EXCELLENT sounding station with a wide play list, great audio, imaging and good LOCAL flavor):

I wanted to bump this thread to share the rollout of our own take on the old Schulke format of the 70s and 80s. Sadly, I never got the chance to hear the EZ Peach version, but here's our spin on it. Still in progress, but far enough along to share with our pals.

Relax...and unwind!

Yes, WQEZ was affected by the Streamlicensing shutdown in June of 2019. It took all of us by surprise and we were offline for a few days. When Streamlicensing took their website down, all of the listen links associated with our stations were no longer accessible at that point. We have been back up since that time on Live365 at QEZradio.com or direct link to the stream at BeautifulQEZ.com.

I was not aware of the new "Peach" station on IheartRadio. I do know the guy who used to do the ezpeach.org site. He did several other internet-based beautiful music stations in other areas (seems like there were around twelve of them at the time). They, too, fell by the wayside when Streamlicensing collapsed, with the exception of the station he still does based on the former WEZI in Memphis (weziradio.com).
