Are they crazy? There's a warning about explicit language on it but still isn't this just a mite odd and inappropriate for a station like this? At least they didn't put it in the "Kidz N'Family" section. It's 2008 and the word itself probably doesn't offend most but it's a question of station image and common sense. Sometimes I have to wonder if they even know who they're targeting. Let's hope nothing ever happens to Dane Cook.

Maybe they are just confused about what direction to go in. Ryan Seacret and John Tesh. Those two are probably polar opposites as it is. I really think they are at the point of just throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks.

I think B101's HD station is comedy.I think Coast's is disco or dance.
Is Coast just playing games waiting for the end and enjoying the ride until it happens?
What's next?Tad and Brian mooning people at the next flower show?
There are many reasons both PRO-FM and LITE beat them.Stuff like this is one of them but Coast really doesn't understand any of the reasons.
If Coast had a mascot it would be a headless chicken.

You're correct by saying the're different, but, a lot of Hot AC's are bringing John Tesh on-board. The differences in the two are that Ryan's show is glitz and glam and John's show is more lifestyle driven. So as they are different, they both work for Hot AC.

Having Ryan and Delilah would have sounded more out of place, IMHO.

I Love Rickels. That guy is old school and very funny. There were many nights that Johnny Carson was doubled over in laughter at something Rickels would say. I miss those days. You are correct. Letterman was one of the best. When he was at NBC the creativity just flowed. Mr. Curious, Ask Mr. Melman, Guy under the seats, The Monkey Cam. So many great unforgettable bits. Every night was a party.

Unfortunately when they moved over to CBS the party seemed to die. Letterman is still good, but he's only a fraction as good as he used to be. These days Conan has that same edge that Letterman used to have. But I'm afraid that once Conan takes over for Leno it will be yet another example of the comedy flame burning out. We'll have to wait to see.
