Facebook's new video platform Facebook Watch and WWE will be launching a new show called "Mix Match Challenge" on Facebook Watch starting January 16, 2018. the show will pit mix tag team (a tag team with one male and one female wrestler in each team) matches where two teams repesenting WWE's two brands Raw and SmackDown in a mix tag team tournament in which the team that wins the tournament will win $100,000 for the charities of their chosing, the show will the show is also rumor to be WWE's test to see if Facebook would be the future home of WWE's current TV shows, Raw and SmackDown as their current deal with NBCUniversal's USA Network is set to expire in 2019. this tournament will last 12 weeks, and also WWE's Network's current show 205 Live will move to 10:30 PM ET (the show airs on WWE Network after SmackDown currently at 10 PM ET).
this is a huge deal with both pro wrestling on TV and Facebook itself trying to enter the ever growing Video Streaming TV business (which could go bust as soon as possible if the FCC Votes in favor to end Net Neutrality on Thursday)
