Facebook "Lost Pop Hits" music group

"Lost Pop Hits" is a lively Facebook group with about 800 members so far. We have a blast sharing You Tube songs, music trivia and chart stats. We will roll out the big red carpet for anyone from this board!

Certain oldies radio stations occasionally have a "Lost Hits" weekend. I've learned that "lost" actually means "ignored."

Actually "lost hits" to stations like KRTH and KOLA are really songs they probably have not played in just a week's time (or the less frequently rotated songs among their 800).

So when the 60's are eliminated from KRTH and they decide to play "Brown Eyed Girl" out of the blue, it'll be considered a "lost hit"..... ::)
