Fairfield County Public Radio

Public radio broadcaster WSHU is adding Fairfield County news and information content to its broadcasts on WSHU AM, WNLK, WSTC, translator W293AU, and WSHU FM HD2, effective today. The bulk of the programming remains unchanged. But Fairfield county information will inserted at various times, especially during Morning Edition, and All Things Considered. The article linked below states that WSHU will also be seeking out a frequency for the Danbury area.
I believe this was the expectation from the time that they took over the WNLK and WSTC simulcast from Cox radio in late 2011. It apparently took a while to fully implement.
