FAITHS REACTION TO CARRIE WINNING LAST NIGHT?

They showed each nominee before saying who won and when they read off Carrie Underwood the reaction from Faith Hill seemed to be very shocked and mad. Anyone else notice this? I always thought Faith was very humble. I was shocked to see her react this way.

Its the talk of Nashville today on TV and radio. Everyone saw it. She said WHAT?, when Underwoods name was announced. Faith issued a statement through her management company, that she was not aware that she was on camera, and was joking.

Faith was not joking in my opinion. She raised her hands and smiled like she had won and walked out of frame when she blurted out "What!" I think someone told her beforehand that she'd won and that someone is now in the doghouse.

and sadly, that three second clip will haunt her for a long time.

She mouthed "Yeah Right" at the camera...and believe me it was no joke. The only reason it is being spun that way is that she was caught!! PERIOD

Faith thinks that her sh$t smells like roses...I have had the displeasure of doing a promotion with her and she treated her fans and all of us like crap.

Faith is gonna contend that Carrie isn't a "real" country artist....when in reality...Faith Hill IS Carrie Underwood...a few kids, years, and country artist husband later.

Faith sings what people tell her to and what they write for her...Sounds like an American Idol to me!

To me she's saying "what?" as I think she thought she was gonna win or anyone else than Carrie and got the surprise of her life. And she's not clowning.. that's a visible pissed offed look unless she should be nominated for a oscar...

oh, it was a joke....she did the same thing a few years ago when she was up for an award against tim. the only difference is that her and tim also got into a playful pushing match backstage on camera. i think alot of folks read way too much into it.

Exactly... the media unfortunately took it and ran with it and Carrie wasn't even aware there was a "problem" until Faith called her to apologize for what had "happened"... the media always has to try to create a conflict and a story even when there isn't one, and as it's been noted, Faith's always been a fan of Carrie's as have been her kids...

As for the person who was the BIG LOSER that night, it would be LeAnn Rimes... In case you haven't hear, LeAnn opened up her mouth without knowing the full story and made some blanket statements basically saying Carrie didn't deserve the Female Vocalist award becuase she "hadn't paid her dues"... pretty interesting coming from someone who reached her level of stardom in a similar fashion as Carrie and at a younger age... being discovered on "Star Search" and all that... To me, LeAnn's reaction was one of the most hypocritical things I've ever witnessed in the 24+ years that I've been covering contemporary music.
