Fake RF choke on Makita power tools

If you bought a Makita power tool and it has what looks like an unusually large RF choke on its power cord, it's not actually one. It's just their lazy way of adding a metal foil theft prevention strip without needing to redesign the body of the tool to accommodate an internal one, and can be removed with no ill effect.
