The only reason why The Event is failing is because of Chuck. If NBC were to put it after Biggest Loser, it'd get a better audience.Mainedude2007 said:Pat Cook said:I sure hope The Event is on NBC's list.
it is on the list...to be cancelled
NBC should just blow up Monday nights, nothing has gone right this season (even the new L&O looks pretty bad ratings wise but better than The Event has and Chuck has recently)

I'm surprised they didn't include Fringe. Their season finale was its series finale.
What makes you say this? That sounds more sentimental than anythingDToTheJ said:The only reason why The Event is failing is because the alien that more people would rather see Monday nigths on NBC is ALF.

Beyond the fact that ALF & The Event both involve aliens & are (Now in the case of the latter) historically known Monday Night NBC series DOES NOT both will suffer the same fate
Besides, there are social networking campaigns well underway to keep the show on the air. IF NBC has any brains at all, THEY WILL LISTEN TO US FANS !!!!! If not, we can be just as ruthless as Sophia by BOYCOTTING NBC & ITS AFFILIATES (Something they CANNOT afford & likely won't survive) if enough fans get involved
Look at how social networking is changing the Middle East (Starting with Egypt more than a good month & a half ago) as an example of how people can influence world leaders, politicians & decision makers
Just sayin'.....
Cheers![]()

Yes - after NBC shifted it to Saturday nights for the final season - effectively languishing in the same death as Fox's "Married... With Children." (Yes, that also aired on Saturday nights for a season... who can forget the TV Guide ad with Al Bundy dressed in a white polyester suit on a disco floor promoting the "Saturday Night Fever"... :)

They were on Saturday for a few months then FOX moved the Bundy's back to Sundays before the holidays in 1996 thank god. Neitherless the final season was not all that funny.
