The latest numbers are in https://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb141
The Cumulus stations are listed again but more surprisingly the public stations are as well. It turns out that both KANW and KUNM both do quite well. KANW is a very close 2nd place while KUNM is in ninth. Apparently I'm one of the few who listen to KANW-HD2 (or actually K298BY) but mostly in the car since it is hard to pick up but even then there is occasional static. So that could be a factor or people just don't care for the programs.
As for the commercial side, 94 Rock takes the top spot this time. KKOB AM is in third with only slight improvement since expanding local programming but we'll see how TJ Trout does later. KMGA has usual numbers but no noticeable gains from the Christmas season while KPEK is in the top 5. KBQI beats KRST by a full share while the 98.1 translator remains ahead of full powered KBZU. KLVO drops but is still the top Spanish station with KJFA up a bit and KRZY-FM falls into the 0s but apparently they changed their format last week to something called "La Suavecita". KKSS is down while KOB FM is up only a bit and 100.9 The Beat drops to a 1.1 in it's final numbers. KABG is also down quite a bit too. Nothing on KDSK. KQTM is also not listed so maybe they quit subscribing or something. Mix 105.1 is going nowhere after a year so maybe it might flip again? Current pop music just seems a bit too saturated in the market right now. 104.7 is also up but still low, however there has been no activity on their Facebook page in two months and the cover photo has a promotion for the iHeart 80s internet stream. So is this a sign of the end for the 80s format?
Also there's numbers for Las Cruces and Deming https://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb461. I don't see how this can work as a single market. According to radio locator only KVLC, KSNM, and KXPZ reach the Deming area. Las Cruces has many class A stations that only cover that area. But apparently classic hits KVLC is the big station that leads down there.
