SA moved ahead of Salt Lake City, Cincy and Cleveland.
Austin moved ahead of Columbus.

SA a poised to move into the Top 25 in a few more years.

i was wondering in the past couple of years, how fast or slow austin and san antoniuo been moving up the rankings.

WOW, I thought it would be at least few more years before San Antonio moved up into the top 30.... This is just a testament on just how fast the San Antonio radio market is growing, I guess..

A little off topic but this article says something about the fast economic growth in San Antonio compared to the rest of the
country:

ManpowerGroup, an employment services organization, surveyed more than 18,000 employers in 100 metropolitan areas across the country and concluded that San Antonio is #1 for prospective employment this fall.

I have lived in Columbus, Ohio for the past 12 years and am also surprised Austin has overtaken Columbus in the last rankings.
Thought that was at least a few years away because Columbus is also growing but not quite as fast... That is
what I get for being away from San Antonio for the last twenty years... Thanks for the his very interesting thread!

Size does matter but so does the disposable income of the people in the market. A market with lots of good-paying jobs is more attractive to advertisers.
