Fall Arbitron

No, I'm not going to post numbers.

But I will say that V-103 edged out WSB-AM (in 12+), and that Christmas music was a good thing for all involved, especially Lite FM, which zoomed to near the top. (And Christmas music took up--I'm guessing--about half of the survey period.)

A few months ago I thought this would be Q100's best book ever. It sure wasn't.

Last month killed Q.

Think of murphy's law. Q tripled their signal, had a huge xmas show, gave a way a place at Alantic Station for a year...crappy November. 97 Jamz had the biggest book in the history of the station, flipped to The River.

The gods of Arbitron are a fickle bunch.

Whats the reason behind the lasst month's disappointing ratings?

It's Atlanta's First Book As A Top 10 Radio Market

So these ratings will probably hold a special place, and put some pressure on everyone.

No clue, they weren't doing anything different from the norm. But as much as they fell, it had to be book placement, or bad sample...or something on Arb's end. I know people say that whenever a book doesn't fall in their favor...but MAN. From what I've heard, they've pulled back up to where they were before, so it was Arbitron wobble.

Any clue how Denny Shaffer's doing at the Bldg. of Death in relationship to Glenn Beck before him?

That's the biggest problem. There is never a consistent sample.

Good for V. But WSB-A is still very strong. There are very few other AM stations anywhere in the U.S that can claim being # 2 25-54. Also #7 18-34 is almost unheard of for an AM.

It's true V is #1, but WSB is actually up in share from a year ago.

I am so sick of WSB--Hope they fall further--They need a shakeup. Who wants to hear RE-BORTZ?????????????- The programming sucks.
They are so predictable, and have been resting on their laurels for way too long.

It couldn't have been too good, seeing how the rest of the station tanked. But hey, Denny is best friends with OM Mike Wheeler and isn't that what's REALLY important??

(I'm not sure when the change actually took place, so I'll compare to 2 previous)
