Fall Arbs for Dothan

Must have been a crappy book for diary placements...everybody was down. But WTVY proves yet again that they are the best at what they do. Sorry all you haterz.

Here's the breakdown for market 193 (lol):

WTVY-FM 10.4
WOOF-FM 9.7
WDJR-FM 8.2
WKMX-FM 6.7
WZHT-FM 4.9
WDBT-FM 4.9
WJJN-FM 4.1
WESP-FM 3.7
WHLW-FM 3.4
WJRL-FM 3.4
WBBK-FM 3.4
WRJM-FM 3.0
WYYX-FM 2.2
WAGF-FM 1.9
WOAB-FM 1.9
WIZB-FM 1.9
WOOF-AM 1.5
WVVL-FM 1.1
WLDA-FM 1.1
WWNT-AM 1.1

They only hate out of jealousy. Does any one know the breakdown in adults 25-54?

Bragging rights most certainly go to TVY. Congratulations to Pollard and company! Can't wait to see the complete breakdown.

Congrats to TVY! Aren't these averaged numbers of the Fall and Spring Book? And if so, with WTVY and WOOF both losing much more than DJR wouldn't that mean in the individual Fall book DJR would be the slowest loser or lost the least or most stable or something like that? Oh yeah, it is #192, check the ratings tab up top.

Thanks for posting them omglol.

Magic - 1, 4, tie 11, tie 11, tie 20
Simpsons - 2, tie 20 (w/am day timer)
Radio People - 3, tie 6, 8
Wilson Broadcasting - 7, tie 16

Anybody want to guess who is winning the revenue battle in either gross sales (cash) or net cash flow?

And I need to correct my previous post, of the top four KMX is the best loser. That kinda has a nice ring to it.

Congrats to everyone that worked hard for your station and company. Have a cold one and celebrate....as long as your not worried about your job. But hey, we've another Bo Jangles getting ready to open in Daleville so just keep that voice in shape cause there may not be many lines to say but it's mighty repetitive.

I would guess Magic is bringing in the dough. Number one is number one. Buyers will usually go 5 deep. Number one gets the biggest ball of dough.

'KMX was No. 1 18-34 but it's apparently skewing younger than ever. Unless it delivers decent 18-49 - as "Stewy" knows - it won't be able to bring in huge billing.

While WDBT has brought WTVY down, it also did the same at WDJR - and that was the risk. I had a feeling WDBT shifting to Country would have the same or a larger negative effect on WTVY. The big winner in the flip of WDBT to Classic Country was none other than WOOF. It puts them in a much more solid position.

Now, there is another way to look at. The combined 12+ for TRP is 13.1 in Country vs. WTVY's 10.4. Maybe, they are happy with that and will just combo them together. Although it seems like a waste of a signal to use only to sell in combo.

'KMX has less competition than it has in a long time. WJJN is the only other station in the market targeting 18-34 - so 'KMX should (and needs to be) a dominant #1 18-34.

That's very true. In fact, if done correctly, Radio People could have a much more marketable package.

Ironically, the last book before Styles blew up WJRL's Country format, WTVY and WJRL combined for a 10.2 and WDJR had a 13.3. WJRL was killing WTVY and the two Country market actually delivered more shares than three. We've now seen this happen twice.

Under the Styles run, WTVY was No. 1 every book but one (and that was the second book). Now, TRP have taken back the lead. But congrats to Amy for holding the No. 1 spot in mornings and overall as the top Country station - especially in light of two competitors.

The radio people own the country share with the combo djr/dbt. It does seem pointless to have dual country signals if you are not going to sell them that way though.

I think DJR beats TVY outright if TRP would kill that classic format and do country radio the way it should be done.

Woof continues to be solid as they always have been proving their consistent music/personalies/cash promotions is the way to do consistent winning radio.
