Fall Daytime Shcedules

Re: Fall Daytime Schedules because Orlando's for Weekdays it already out

Lets Ask America 6:30pm KSHB
Today Show 4 hour 1pm KSHB
KC Live 11am to 1pm KSHB

Wheel of Fortune FOX4KC 6:30PM maybe

Just a few weeks ago, Rachael Ray and Right This Minute switched spots on KIRO, RR is on at 9AM now, and RTM at 3 and 3:30.
Katie's new talk show is airing 4PM weekdays beginning Sept. 10 on KING/5, Steve Harvey's new talk show ends up weekdays on KSTW, and Jeff Probst's new show is on KONG starting in September.

Let's Ask America will be MIA in the Seattle market, as Hearst has nothing to do with any of the Seattle stations.

All I know out of Atlanta at this point is that Katie will air at
3 PM on WSB, and Jeff Probst will replace Rachael Ray at 2 PM
on WXIA.

Closer to home (North Carolina), Katie will be on WTVD Raleigh/
Durham at 3 (I think WSOC Charlotte will also carry her at that
time), and although I don't know the timeslot, "Let's Ask America"
should be on WXII Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point since the
station is owned by Hearst (same goes for WYFF Greenville/Spartanburg/
Asheville).

North Carolina is one state where every CBS affiliate carries "Let's Make
A Deal" at 3 PM (two stations that get into the state, WTKR Norfolk and
WBTW Florence/Myrtle Beach, carry it in the morning), and I haven't heard
of any of them moving it to the morning (in my area, WFMY runs back-to-
back episodes of Andy Griffith from 10 to 11, while WRAL carries "The Doctors").

As to Los Angeles...

KNBC has been promoting their new additions, Jeff Probst (at 2pm, replacing Gloria Allred's court show) and Steve Harvey (at 3pm, replacing Nate Berkus) during the network's Olympic coverage. Pretty much outside of that, nothing's else changing on Channel 4.

KABC, of course, is carrying Katie Couric's new show at 3pm, bumping Dr. Oz a hour early to 2, which of course shifts General Hospital to 1. Again, no other reported schedule changes.

I also don't see any changes, if at all, over on KCBS for the fall...they have the network straight from 7am to 2pm (with the half-hour break at 11am for news), The Doctors at 2, Dr. Phil at 3, back-to-back Judge Judy eps at 4, news from 5-6:30pm, Scott Pelley at 6:30, ET at 7, and The Insider at 7:30.

KTTV is picking up Ricki Lake's new show, although I forget what time it'll air. They're also airing Dish Nation, which had a test run on KTTV and six other Fox-owned stations last summer; now it gets a permanent slot. The test run ran at 6:30pm, after TMZ, and I'm guessing that's where it'll air this go-round.

I haven't heard anything else in regards to the other station locally.

What the heck is Dish Nation? A gossip show sponsored by the Dish Hopper?

"Dish Nation" is a entertainment/gossip program, sort of a cross between "Entertainment Tonight" and "TMZ on TV."

Hartford/New Haven:

NBC 30: (WVIT NBC O&O)
2PM Jeff Probst (replaces We the People with Gloria Allread)
3PM Steve Harvey (replaces Nate Berkus).
4PM stays the same with Ellen.

NEWS 8 (WTNH LIN-TV ABC)
3PM Katie

Ricki Lake's new show will be airing on Tribune's FOX 61 (WTIC). I have not heard what time. I have no interest so I really don't care.

Let's hope Family Feud returns to the airwaves in Hartford.

I know the 1PM-2PM and the 230AM-330AM times on WCCT/20 and FOX 61 will be opening up as Bill Cunningham's show is supposed to be leaving syndication and moving to The CW weekdays at 3 Eastern.

Most areas won't get "Let's Ask America". This show and "The List" will only air on Scripps stations that are dropping "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" this fall. My assumption would be that these two shows will go national next fall if all goes well this fall. Don't know if all Scripps stations are dropping Wheel & Jep! quite a few are for sure.

In Philly, Family Feud moves to 7 and
7:30 on the CW station. That's about the best slot it has had for years on a station bigger than WGTW or WFMZ. Back when WCAU was a CBS affiliate, it aired 'You Bet Your Life' hosted by Bill Cosby and Family Feud at that hour.

It's been a long recovery since then.

While it maybe local here, I'm sure Steve Harvey's increased popularity will help Family Feud nationally too.

KSTW is likely keeping the Feud for Harvey's third season. Still funny as always! That's what makes it so entertaining, his jokes on the show.

Is "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" coming back? And if so, why?

"Dish Nation" is a entertainment/gossip program, sort of a cross between "Entertainment Tonight" and "TMZ on TV."

Even worse, it's that exactly, but with morning zoo DJ's in major markets (usually the terrible pop station, the Scott Shannon show in NY) who specialize in gossip doing the chatting ::). Fox piloted it last summer on their stations and the clips I watched on YouTube were worse than ET, if that's possible. How it ever got to pilot stage besides some terrible syndicated comedy product not being picked up, I haven't figured out yet.

Haven't made full sense of Milwaukee yet, but I know Katie Couric goes to WISN in the GH timeslot, while Steve Harvey gets noontime on WITI/Fox with Ricki Lake after, with the Divorce Court/Judge Alex block bumping up to 2pm to hopefully fix the damage Jackie Glass did with Swift Justice last year. WDJT/CBS has Probst at 3pm, and as usual WTMJ/NBC only airs the two Access shows as their only syndicated product between their 1/3 of a day of local news product and hour of local informercial/daytime show. I expect plenty of changes between WDJT and their sister indie WMLW now that the latter has a full power HD signal that no longer reduces it to the 'leftovers station' in the market.

In The Quad Cities:

- Katie Couric is coming to WQAD (ABC), allegedly at 2pm, while Ellen DeGeneres and Dr. Phil exchange time slots.
- Jeff Probst is coming to WHBF (CBS). However, it's still unknown yet as to what time he'll be on, and the most likely endangered shows are Anderson, Judge Judy, and Dr. Oz.
- Trisha Goddard will air at 1pm on KGCW (CW), replacing 'Excused'.
- KLJB (Fox) will air Ricki Lake's new show at 3pm...

If you click on the "Entertainment" tab on WHBF's website, it does say Jeff probst will air at 3 pm.

Also, does anyone know the status on "Excused" for next season. Did not hear about a specific renewal or cancellation on this one.

In Cleveland-Akron-Canton (based on what I know):

WEWS/5 (ABC)

11am The View
12pm NewsChannel 5 at Noon
1pm The Chew
2pm General Hospital
3pm Katie
4pm Dr. Oz
5pm Live on Five (NewsChannel 5 newscast)
6pm NewsChannel 5 at 6
6:30pm ABC World News
7pm The List
7:30pm Let's Ask America

Don't know about 10am (either a new show or a Dr. Oz second run), but the station is owned by Scripps, which is dropping "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy!" in favor of "The List" and "Let's Ask America."

WJW/8 (FOX)

12pm Fox 8 News at Noon
1pm The Jeff Probst Show
2pm The Steve Harvey Show
3pm The Ricki Lake Show

Jeff is replacing "Swift Justice," Steve is replacing both "Divorce Court" and "Judge Alex," and Ricki is replacing "Judge Joe Brown." Don't know the status on "Divorce," "Alex" and "Brown," either new times and/or new stations. "Judge Judy" is likely going to remain at 4pm or somewhere in the hour. Quite an overhaul for 8 since the court shows have been successful. Don't know about 11am as well.

WOIO/19 (CBS)

4pm 19 Action News (2 hours and 30 minutes of local news from 4pm to 6:30pm)
6:30pm CBS Evening News
7pm Wheel of Fortune
7:30pm Jeopardy!

19 is one of the stations picking up "Wheel" and "Jeopardy!" due to the move by Scripps (19 is owned by Raycom along with 43). Don't know what will happen to "The Insider" (which "Wheel" is replacing) and "Inside Edition" (which "Jeopardy" is replacing).

WUAB/43 (My Network TV) is likely to carry "The Trisha Goddard Show" and maybe "Dish Nation." Don't know about WKYC/3 (NBC) and WBNX/55 (CW). If anyone knows about Cleveland moves, feel free to reply.

Re: Fall Daytime Schedules

In Phoenix, Wheel Of Torture and Jeopardy! will shift from KNXV-TV 15 (ABC) to
KTVK 3 (RF 24) (indie), and will air at 7 and 7:30 PM respectively.

Currently on KNXV, J! is at 4:30 and WOF at 6:30, but they're going to have to
run the new corporate (Scripps) crap in the fall.

This is what I know for the Chicago market:

Steve Harvey will be on WMAQ-TV (NBC) at 2pm, replacing Nate Berkus

Katie Couric will be on WLS-TV (ABC) at 3pm, moving longtime shows Inside Edition to 2pm & Jeopardy to 2:30pm (both up an hour), also moving General Hospital up an hour to 1pm .

Jeff Probst will be on WBBM-TV (CBS), but no announcement on time. Judge Judy currently occupies both the 2 & 4pm timeslots. One of those timeslots will likely become Jeff's new talk show.

Ricki Lake is supposed to be on WFLD (Fox) according to her show's website, but lists no time. Anderson Cooper & Dr Oz already air twice a day during the daytime hours. So either the 11am (currently Anderson Cooper) or the 2pm timeslot (currently Dr Oz) could be the timeslots for Ricki Lake (both timeslots repeats). It's also possible neither timeslot, & WFLD moves all their current talk shows around.

Lastly that I know of (confirmed), Bill Cunningham will move from exclusively Tribune stations to CW, moving his show from 2pm to 3pm. Since Tribune has the CW affiliation in Chicago, they're not losing the show, like they are in Philadelphia and a few other markets where someone else affiliates with CW. More than likely if WGN-TV doesn't have a new show lined up for the 2pm timeslot, they'll just add another hour of Maury Povich like they've always done in the past.

So, if Bill Cunningham is moving to CW nationally, then my best guess is that KCPQ [which I know is running the new Ricki Lake] will put it at 11AM.

This market is still missing Wendy Williams. It hasn't been on since the 2010-11 season.

Fall lineups for Milwaukee so far

WISN:

11am: TBA (currently Nate Berkus; they still haven't announced what's filling it)
2pm: Katie

WDJT:

3pm: Jeff Probst (currently Rachael Ray)

WVTV:

6:00pm and 6:30pm: Family Feud (currently airing on WMLW; WVTV airs Two and a Half Men in these timeslots)

WITI:

12pm: Steve Harvey (currently Anderson)
1pm: Ricki Lake (currently Divorce Court and Judge Alex)
2pm: TBA (currently Swift Justice, so this slot will definitely be filled)
TBD: Dish Nation (saw a promo but didn't mention a timeslot; probably late-night)

WMLW:

5:00pm and 5:30pm: Rules of Engagement (currently 3rd Rock from the Sun)

WCGV:

TBD: Trisha Goddard (saw a promo but didn't mention a timeslot; might be shared with WVTV since all the NBCU trash talk shows air on both stations)
