Fall II trends - GSP

Not much to look at since it excludes a lot of stations, but noticed these were released:

Yikes for MY....dropping an entire share from the last trend?!?!? As much as like the Hot AC format, it's looking pretty bad for 102.5.

No sign of X98.5 yet, but not sure if I expected to see it yet. I'd like to think that maybe some of those MY listeners are going to X looking for some newer rock that was getting a little airplay on MY but not elsewhere. I've noticed on X's Facebook page that they seem to draw a fair amount of female listeners.

Won't be able to tell until the full book comes out, but B93.7 was leaning a little more adult with more pop-rock for a while there, so they may have benefited a bit (noticed in the past few weeks that trend seems to be waning - again since they seem to change like the wind).

I hadn't seen those but thanks for posting. What do you suppose are the chances that the long-in-the-tooth Hawk and Tom soon get moved over to Magic 98.9?
 
The numbers are bad for MY, yes, but you KNOW they're doing something right somewhere, don't you? You know, there's always a silver lining there. ;) ;)
Worst numbers I have seen for them in 12+ since they went in their current direction, I believe - which may explain why they went all-Christmas sooner than last year. Hot AC has rarely worked in the south, and even though I like the format, as I've said over and over, I don't think this market will be an exception in the long run.

No way will Entercom move Hawk and Tom to Magic, IMO. Judging by their actions there in recent times they don't seem willing to invest much in to morning drive there. I'd rather hear Greg McKinney, anyway. Hawk & Tom were yesterday's news 10 years ago. Everything is so old and stale. I wish the Bee would start fresh in mornings.

What's sad, and I've mentioned this before, is that my 9 and 13-year-olds LOVE them and won't let me listen to anything else in the morning. I just don't get it. They are old and stale in my book.
