Fall P1 trends

Would Boss or someone else be kind enough to tell us what period of time the phase one ratings covers?

Also, how do the "phases" then get condensed into an entire booking period (Summer, Fall, etc.)?

B94 has its best showing since it was revived in October 07. Hopefully the trend continues upward for the station. Although it has been said many times on this board that Star is making decent money, I really wish they would atleast tweak the format and get rid of the overlap of new songs also played on The B.

It's Aug-Sept-Oct. There's a ratings link at the top of the page, go there and you can see the 12+ numbers. That's all non-subscribers get to see, and it's not what the stations sell. They sell specific demos.

Every rating you see is a 3-month rolling average. When all 3 months for the period in question have been measured (Oct-Nov-Dec in this instance), that 3-month average is the fall book.

As far as we can tell, this is the first time in the station's history (including many years as WBCW) that it has shown up in the ratings.

Remember, this is only a trend, and it may not hold up in the Fall book. Still, it's nice to see that someone is listening (as we knew).

Frankie Day is a one Man Radio Station, He Sells the Time Serves as DJ, Engineer, PD ,ect This is the First Time in the History of WKFB [ signed on in jan 1974 as WBCW] That it showed up in the Pittsburgh Ratings. Go Frankie. Not Bad for a 750 watt AM Daytimer. http://frankieday.com/

Frankie is not the engineer or the PD. He brokers the time, four hours each weekday, and three on Saturday.

That said, I have observed before that if Frankie wasn't doing what he has been doing for the past three years (along with people like Caveman Ralph), 770 wouldn't be playing oldies right now.

So here's to Frankie, and what appears (from the R&R listings) to be the only rated daytimer in the market.

Clark, Thank You for Clarifing That. Frankie is doing a Great job Playing the Music our Generation Grew up with, He is also Promouting the Station by doing M.C. Work at Concerts , WQED Doo Wop Shows, Dances, Ect. I'm Glad his Hard Work is paying off.
