Both KCBS and KCAL jump started part of their new fall schedules this week. "The Rachel Ray Show" moves to KCAL at a rather unusual 8am start time, followed by "America's Court with Judge Ross" at 9am. This show is actually about to begin it's second season, but has not been seen in LA until now. "Judge Mathis" and "Judge Joe Brown" have moved back into the 10 and 11am time slots they had two years ago before "The Doctors" came along. That show has moved to KCBS at 2pm and will be the lead-in for "Dr. Phil" who moves to 3pm beginning Sept. 12, shifting "Judge Judy" one hour later to 4pm. "Let's Make A Deal" moves back to 9am.
Over at FOX 11, a British import, "The Jeremy Kyle Show" will replace the canceled "Judge Jeannie Piro" at 3pm, and the much anticipated "Anderson Cooper Show" boots "Swift Justice with Nancy Grace" from the 4pm slot. And it looks as if the show currently being tried out at 6:30pm "Dish Nation" will get a full season pick-up, although this has not been confirmed.
KDOC is picking the live syndicated "Daily Buzz" show that up till now has been seen on pretty much mid to small market CW stations. It will air from 7-9am starting Sept. 12. The station is also picking up "Cash Cab" from KCAL and is planning to air the sitcom "Till Death" weeknights from 10-11pm.
