Finally, some new Columbus ratings to look at. Looks like Arbitron is still releasing the quarterlies (only) for Columbus, but exlcluding non-subscribing stations..
One of the most notable results is that 99.7 managed to eke out a 12+ AQH share of only 2.4, down from 3.7 in the summer. It's actually below Newark's WCLT, and ranked just above the two Alternatives (1.9 for 106.7 and 1.6 for CD101). Don't know The Rock's in-demo performance, but I doubt it can be all that great with a 33% drop in AQH.
LVQ also had a down book, dropping to 4.3 from the summer's 6.2. Usually they're in the 5's.
Would be interesting to know if 97.1 finally gained any real traction -- especially via Buckeye football -- and perhaps stole some men from the two big-signal rockers. But alas, 97.1 and the other RadiOhio/Dispatch stations have now apparently joined Saga as non-subscribers, so 97.1's fall numbers aren't public.
I HIGHLY doubt The Dispatch will be continuing its "forever" tradition of writing a brief article about the latest quarterly...
