False advertising?

How is it KIRO can advertise Seattles most frequent traffic reports when it is false?
KOMO has them every ten minutes 24 hrs a day except when the Mariners play.
KIRO only has them 4 times an hour except during the morning drive.

I listen for the traffic reports as I am a tanker yanker and like to know what not to run into.
 
I think this has been brought up plenty of times before....here's your answer.....STATIONS LIE. If I'm Joe KIRO listener, I'm not going to notice how often their reports are. They do theirs every 15 minutes usually and thats what I would expect. I'm not going to time them, and frankly if they say they have "Seattle's Most Frequent Traffic Reports" I'll believe them. It's all about branding and sounding bigger than life. If KIRO went back to doing traffic reports "on the 3's" then it would just be more interuptions in the Ron and Don Show each afternoon (but that might be a good thing)....Speaking of how horrible they are, why doesn't anyone ever bring that up? Ron Upshaw is a decent host, but Don obviously doesn't care about what anyone else has to say because he always talks over them...My prediction, Ron and Don out by the end of '07....Why Wouldn't They Be?
