Thanks for the info! I love BTE & Cowboy Mouth.

Why is this site sooooooooooooo sloooooooooooooow? OMG if y'all want to come over to my website I'll create a forum for you. It will be much faster than this one.

Harrumph ! It was just a suggestion. lol
Seriously, myspace is for kids. Facebook has lotsa radio folks who have moved away from this board and keep in touch over there. It's an adult site where everybody stays in touch almost daily.

Mrs. Fury and Oldies King, love your "adult site" idea. Count me in. But as for Louisiana being dead, you wouldn't believe Missouri. Said yesterday that its most recent post was over a week old. Wrong, Selfzheimerz! Just went there again, and the last post was on Dec. 18th; previous top few were all back in first 3 or 4 days of that month.

Is it too soon to liven things up -- even if it POs one recent poster -- with some talk of another Cap's get-together?

Come on over, Soxless and email me right away to be friends and share our pages. Lotsa radio folks who share time there, and with this board.

As far as the disgruntled poster, obviously he's never been a news broadcaster, reporter or writer. If there *is* no news, then there is no news to post. And like the Missouri board, he grumbled previously that this board was dying because nobody was posting. Well that's because there was nothing hot going on to post, or, if there was, nobody who knew took the time to share it with a post. We can't invent news to post on here, but when there is some, usually somebody aware of the situation posts it. If he's not happy with that, he can feel free to go out any day and make some radio news himself to post if he's in the radio business. If not, he should be content with looking into the window, as a visitor and curious observer who loves radio.

In the meantime, please I hope he will pardon us if we offend his thirst for hot radio news every day when there is no news, and we make peripheral posts about other things going on that involves, or is of interest to professional, career radio people, to keep this board fresh and alive.

Oldies King, I salute you.

That was, perhaps, the most genteel way I've ever seen it suggested that someone indulge in what William Manchester referred to as "mono genesis." 8)
