"Family Guy" On ABC/CBS/NBC Affiliates?

With the news of Arsenio Hall's new show debuting on a slew of CW/MyNet stations, it reminds me of how his old show used to have a boatload of affiliates of "the big three" on their roster. Of course, they've got other late night programming lined up these days.

But it got me thinking about another show currently cleared on a slew of CW/MyNet stations: "Family Guy." It's probably going to take a back seat to Arsenio in some markets if it hasn't already to the likes of "Two And A Half Men," but it made me wonder if there are any affiliates of ABC, CBS or NBC - either currently or in the past - with "Family Guy" reruns on their schedule. I found this listing of current affiliates but after doing research on a few of them, I come to find out that it's actually airing not on, say, an ABC affiliate, but rather a subchannel of that ABC affiliate that's a NyNet affiliate.

I believe KIMA 29 Yakima/KEPR 19 Tri-Cities [CBS] has Family Guy on weekend evenings at 12:30AM. They don't show it nightly. Plus, they also show *The Simpsons* at 7:30 weeknights!

Semi OT: Simpsons reruns air on KDNL in St. Louis, Sinclair's low budget ABC affiliate programmed more like CW/Mynet station than a Big 4 affiliate

KOMU, the University of Missouri owned NBC station airs a Simpsons reruns weekly on Sunday evenings, I don't know why they don't air M-F on its CW subchannel

Simpsons reruns are usually on a netlet affiliate M-F

WXLV (also a low budget Sinclair ABC affiliate) used to run The Simpsons. It has since moved to MY affiliate WMYV (also Sinclair owned).

KREM (CBS affiliate in Spokane) aired The Simpsons the first three seasons of its syndication run, but the station moved it to their newly-launched, UPN-affiliated sister station (KSKN) starting in September 1997. The show moved to Fox affiliate KAYU a few years later, where it has been ever since.

Simpsons reruns on a CBS station didn't seem that unusual to us back then:KREM and ABC affiliate KXLY were both sitcom-heavy during prime access for several years, but they have both adopted a more traditional "big three" syndicated lineup in the past decade or so.

KSHB (NBC that had recently switched from FOX in Kansas City) aired Simpsons reruns at 6:30PM for about two years before moving them to new sister indie KMCI in 1996 where they continue to this day aired after Family Guy

Here in Texas, KBMT, Beaumont's ABC affiliate, recently began airing FG and American Dad back to back in the 1am hour. Both also air on KBMT's sister MNTV affiliate, which to me isn't quite as special as a show being on the Big Three station alone. Victoria's recent My Network to CBS convert, KXTS-LD, also aired both MacFarlane shows IIRC, but now only airs AD.

Oddly enough in the Simpsons' case, no Beaumont station has ever aired the show in daily strip syndication, making it one of the few markets that have not had Homer and company on 5 days a week at some point.
