...hell, Camping bought the late and lamented WNYW New York, the shortwave station that broadcast CBS and ABC news and bilingual (English and Spanish) pop music to Latin America in October 1973. They changed the call sign to WYFR, and moved the transmitter site from Massachusetts to Florida a few years after that. A small little bit of WNYW still lives on over the internet. I still remember it as "CUE-1150", in its final days as a top 40 outlet, then with "Music of Your Life" and straight ahead local MOR until Mr. Camping and his group bought it.

Aren't WNYW-TV the calls of New York's (Fox-owned) TV Channel 5?
