I hope it goes to a commerical broadcaster like WB or something, so I can finally watch Smallville in Lubbock with out being ripped off by Cox cable..

Not sure if this is really connected or not, but FN was available on my local cable system (Ragland/Coosa Cable in AL) on channel 12. As of today, they flipped ESPN2 to 12 and have placed a new access concept called "Digital South" in ESPN2's former slot on 40, which seems to be 100% local w/ no FN content.

OTA station WJXS-CA/24 also carries some FN stuff, mostly just the evening movies and ANN News. They're all local car and real estate infomercials on the weekends, so I can't tell if there have been any changes.

Sources close to the situation. However I didn't get all the details... there was limited information given. Mum was the word. I know there were talks with other broadcasting companies at one time big ones at that.Supposedly, the person has deep pockets. FamilyNet is at the end of their budget and are now bare bones as they just ceased their radio operations. I assume BIG changes are ahead

I would love to provide links but there are none.l

Would Byron Allen and/or The Firm happen to be involved? They were attempting to go after PAX at one point, so it wouldn't surprise me if either acquired FN.

Valid point...
Could be... but I don't believe the Mission Board would sell to anyone other than a religous purpose. I could be wrong however. With Salem connected with Janet Parshall it would make a little sense but... I doubt it!
