Famous Amos, Cookie Maker

I met Famous Amos at KIIS FM Los Angeles in 83. He thought Bruce Vidal was Big Ron as Bruce was very large. Bruce told me once he was the 4th most famous Radio Announcer in the U.S. and I started laughing. Famous Amos had great Cookies at his store, nothing like the ones sold at retail locations

It bothered me to see what I call Bible School cookies packaged with his name on them when it was clearly not his recipe. Now I wish I had bought them because they looked good. There's probably no difference between those and any other brand of vanilla sandwich cookies, or whatever flavor they were.
