FAN vs. EPN

Radio and Records magazine considers 1050 EPN to be competition for 660 WFAN? Are they insane?
EPN will never be competition for WFAN. Just look at the Arb numbers. Not even close in any demo.
EPN added Bill Daughtry and Seth Everett. Whoopee! Like those two are going help EPN gain on FAN.
Never in this life time!

They're both sports stations so that's why they're listed that way.

WFAN is the undisputed sports radio leader in NYC. WEPN will never catch WFAN in popularity. They are an ESPN affliate and that about says it all. Just look at the recent Arb trends.

Does WEPN make money & if so how much?

They make money otherwise they wouldn't be on the air. They don't generate anywhere near the revenue of WFAN.
WFAN was one of the highest billing stations in NYC.
